Atomic Habits

Title: Atomic habits

Author: James Clear

Genre: SELF-HELP

Publisher: Avery

Here’s the blurb for y’all to update your TBR list:

A revolutionary system to get 1 per cent better every day.

People think when you want to change your life, you need to think big. But world-renowned habits expert James Clear has discovered another way. He knows that real change comes from the compounded effect of thousands of small decisions- doing two push-ups a day, waking up five minutes earlier, or reading just one more page.

He calls them atomic habits.

In this ground-breaking book, Clear reveals exactly how this miniscule changes can grow into such life-altering outcomes. He uncovers a handful of simple life hacks (the forgotten art of Habit Stacking, the unexpected power of the Two Minute Rule, or the trick to entering the Goldlocks Zone), and delves into cutting-edge psychology and neuroscience to explain why they matter. Along the way, he tells inspiring stories of Olympic gold medalists, leading CEOs, and distinguished scientists who used the science of tiny habits to stay productive, motivated, and happy.

It was a good read for some initial chapters. I really enjoyed reading it and highlighting some really motivational words/lines which I may follow IRL. But….. it’s just….. I think these self-help books aren’t my type these days. I mean, I’m getting impatient, or you could also say bored.

So, hence I’m skipping reading the last 2 chapters, but I skipped reading this book with full focus or enjoyment a while ago.

Can’t really rate because DNF’ed.
