Here’s the blurb for y’all to update your TBR list:
My Daughter’s Mum plunges deep into essential subjects, from parenting to marriage, to faith and selfhood.
Yet beyond the searingly personal, this is a memoir that explores our place in a world that is fast transforming, and where questions of identity and personal freedom are in dialogue with ideas of nationality. The candid and gentle humour of the author’s voice will make my Daughter’s Mum resonate with every reader.
To be honest, it was a good book as a starter reading. I really enjoyed reading this book and had a “what’s going to happen next” type of moment. NGL, I took a fairly long break reading this book as it was my new session at my new school. But when I continued reading this book, I enjoyed it.
Moreover, I would say this book is a 4/5 as some of the chapters were boring or you could also say that because I took a break, I forgot about the characters.
