One of those books that kept the readers intrigued from the start, and it managed to keep me interested till the very end of the chapter.
Dominic was a lil too ambitious, but his character and past trauma or insecurities were well written that I didn’t honestly expected it to be. I mean- I was excited to read this book, but some part of my brain warned me that it’s going to be a pathetic story where fl just gets swoon by their words, but here, Alessandra believed in actions despite his efforts, which made reading this book a lot easier.
I also felt varied emotions reading this book- ranging from sadness, laughter, blushing, and even pity or anger in some instances! But it was all worth it for a quite endeavouring journey!
Dante is so pookie coded in others’ books, and it’s interesting to see that trait of personality after Vivian’s entry in his life- not particularly entry tho iykyk
Platonic friendship and casual dating were 😏plus I love those books where main characters converse with each other like bro! shut up!
Also, the story ends where it all started is so ironic with such a character arc🥹
So I’d rate this book 4/5- Alessandra was whipped just after her divorce, which was understandable, but then the constant reminder of her inside thoughts was kind of repetitive.
