Reading Maniac

Gawwwd, I was so damn excited to read the POV of Warner after reading Unravel Me! (I know I should’ve read this book earlier, but nvm) And yes, no one will call me a hypocrite because of hating him; he deserved it.

 

The prologue itself told many things about his character! (I just want to like him, and I’m all AAAGHHH over his scene now, mind me) He’s funny, witty, quite an observant, and most importantly, he himself seems to mind how everyone behaves around him more… tightly? Like, they can’t function without his DAMN orders, which is truly sick. Btw, it was v much dramatic and hilarious!

 

He’s so mechanical and robotic when he’s not around Juliette, more specifically her diary, like- he’s just a man forced to fight off people when deep down he’s so fallen over the heads over this one girl who doesn’t seem to leave his mind….. and he definitely doesn’t mind this fs!

 

Also, there’s been too much description from his pov which explains everything about him.

 

Also, the fascination of bitter coffee and male leads is so real that I don’t even feel shocked or anything.

 

Also, his father is THE real villain! he destroyed 3 lives(warner, his mother, adam)- somewhat more possible fs! Hope James and Adam’s mother got safe from him, maybe!

 

I’d rate this book a solid 3.5/5- Warner’s character is so complicated, so it’ll be fun to read from his pov (with Juliette, please) more!
