Reading Maniac

This book is definitely one of my favourites from this series! I freaking enjoyed it and felt a lot of emotions throughout my reading.

 

OMG YAASSS, are you freaking serious, Mr Warner Freaking Anderson?? Your first pov and I’m dead already. And guys, Juliette promised to kill that bastard, and she did it – at least tried to, iykyk.

 

So, Warner and Juliette had touched each other in past and had a sentimental hug as well? wow. That was pretty unexpected, and would I be lying if I said I was blown away by this fact? because it’s true.

 

One of Juliette’s past memories of their family moments is so cute, and then I wonder if greed is powerful enough to donate their own daughter to stay in power, despite knowingly sending their daughters to torture, and remaining alone in worse situations.

 

Special mention to all the moments of their past- like it’s so cute, Juliette always feeling safe looking into his eyes- no matter the situations, and most importantly, them falling in love with each other- no matter how many times their memories have been wronged, plus they were always there for each other in a silent way to give reassurance – idk how to explain it but damnnit! and God, warner always believed he knew her from the very very beginning- i mean oooff.

 

I think James knew that Adam was hiding something, or more specifically, he heard “the brothers” talking, because the way he was going slightly against Adam and then supporting to find Juliette and Warner initially.

 

Damn, Damn, that heavy conversation with Delalieu was so…. heavy? ok, nvm. But damn, Ella and Warner’s chemistry and the fact that they’ve fallen in love with each other every damn time, no matter how many times their memories have been wiped away, is crazy, man! Also, should I feel sorry for being impressed by the manipulations and timing of Anderson?

 

 

And shut up, Adam, not everything is about you. and idk why his “love” is still relevant to express- I mean, buy some self-respect and bury that love somewhere else, na? he got closure many times, but every time we have to read through all the same nonsense, but THIS time, it was pretty much new information too, but still, shut up, bro. James is more mature than you, ngl. And please, can we talk about that cliffhanger? I mean, wtf? seriously?

 

Reunion (at least in her head’s voices) of Juliette and Emmaline was way funny, like bro, you’re dumbo, and must know that! but not truly her fault when their parents are real asshole. But but, that whole conversation, or should I more specifically say memory sharing between them, was so… brutal that it made me emotional for a bit. And, Juliette, being the kind person she is, even now, couldn’t leave her sister to die like this, and I’m pretty much happy about the killing of her so-called mother, and the way she did it? Wow. Girl literally grew up, like AAAGHH.

 

Making out and then saying the worst possible words out of your mouth is just a part of fmc in this book. first, Juliette and now, Nazeera, like wow—

 

Wishing for death when THEY come up alive in front of your face instead of showing your real emotions, how bad you mourned their death is just a part of mmc in this book. First, Adam and now, Warner, like wow—

 

& now talking bout reunion about Warner and his father with that freaking cliffhanger was….. spooky? Like bro, be dead this time because now you’re going to be a target of THE Aaron freaking Warner Anderson. But but but THIS warner is madly in love who’s even ready to change himself into a better person for her, who initially wanted her to accept him as him…. he literally didn’t check whether his father is alive or not, and I’m damn sure he’s going to come back again, alive, oof….

 

Max and Warner’s conversation was very casual (I so wanted to say friendly, but nah), like they were just talking about mundane things, not about… ykwim, it was almost (read: very) funny. And then, Mr. Anderson had to arrive on time and show “respect” to him, but that cliffhanger, oh god, Nazeera, I ALWAYS trusted you, believe me.

 

The tension building before the final final reunion of Juliette and Warner is everything, and the writing and all emotions depicted were top-notch! I felt my heart racing, knowing they were going to meet fs, but still AAAGHHH.

 

Thank you, Kenji, for breaking his proposal to marriage. I mean, who proposes like this, bro? But is it really warmer if he listens to HIS Kenji? nah. But still jokes aside, a proposal with personal touches (?!) of a character with his own personality rather than extravagant actions is much better, I feel. And that proposal? Just real feelings and done!

 

Ella had to what? she had to kill her sister? It makes sense, but…. she promised something else to Emmaline?

 

And I absolutely love love it when the efforts are done from both sides! Juliette trying to create new memories for his birthday and keeping track of time since he told her about his scare is the bare minimum, isn’t it? But I loved it.

 

Also, both of them loving their original name by the end of this book; if this isn’t love, then what is it? Aaron and Ella!!!

 

(I’m sorry, I just had to ruin my fun by reading this book thoroughly – skipping details, just go through all pages IN THIS BOOK AS WELL. bye. but it seems way more interesting, and damn, I’m excited AF.)
