Reading Maniac

It was a great series for teenagers to read. Mind you, TEENAGERS.

 

I saw myself enjoying this book. All the books were damn amazing, and I didn’t expect myself to love this genre, but here I am. Honestly, this book was spoiled by ME as well. I mean I sort of engaged a lot of videos related to it on Instagram as well as pinterest which led to decline of my interest but eventually reading through it- I didn’t seem to mind but in the back of my mind, when major spoilers arrive I was like “yeah, I saw this reel”, or “oh, so this was the hype”, or “crazy dude, never thought this was the context of that reel” – and so on.

 

I had to DNF the last three books- I just went through pages, and I was disappointed when the whole book was about her being kidnapped and then her being that typical FMC – damsel in distress! I truly hated it with my gut. And I truly had no energy to read more fantasy sort of book; I mean it was good, great even, but the last three books somehow stretched a lil too much for me. The fact that they didn’t even have a proper conversation in the last book irked me the most. I had to take a whole 1-month break from reading just to let me live in real life, but okay, I miss reading.

 

Truly a one-time read sort of book. I’d rate this whole series a solid 4/5.
