Reading Maniac

It was a great read, and I enjoyed feeling various emotions during my reading.

 

Starting two characters’ book were a lil slow and a bit boring, but the speed gets picked up by the mid of the books and then you don’t want to leave the book and just want to read and explore what’s going to happen next. Also, by the time I started to enjoy the mystery part, the book ends, which was an ick point, but at the same time, I was engulfed by the feeling of excitement of reading the next book.

 

Further on, the next two character’s book focuses more on the mystery part rather than the story or their romance (it was there, but the thrill of getting to know about the suspense was way more than that).
Also, during my reading, I did something which I never saw myself doing- Multi Reading. Yes, it’s a big deal for me. And I did it. And believe me, it was damn fun as well.

 

Moreover, got my first concept of a book boyfriend from this series, and no doubt, it’s our Tristan Fucking Caine.

 

Also, the initial books of every character had too many loopholes, which get unfolded in each and every book and sometimes add to the list of more loopholes. Major loopholes are revealed in the last book, and damn! It was unexpected.

 

My favourite Girls:

 

Morana Vitalio (I love love her.)

Zephyr De La Vega(I still wish to see more of her fun side rather than the damsel which she turned into, but never mind.)

Amara Russo (Brave survivor.)

Luna/Lyna/Lyra (she was WAYYY traumatized, but during the last book, her POV sound a bit mean and I don’t know, something selfish too – I understand her traumas and all the stress and missing part of Shadow Man, but something was off.)

 

 

My favourite Boys:

 

Dante Maroni (Soft boys will always be my weakness, and he’s a sweetheart disguised with leadership qualities and manipulation.)

Tristan Fucking Caine (AAGAGHHHH, my forever love, but second number doesn’t mean I love him any less.)

Shadow Man (He’s very much deep-layered, and I enjoyed reading his POV.)

Alessandro Alpha Villanova (Honestly, I enjoyed his character by the very end and in the last book, so yeah!)

 

 

Chemistry-wise favourite Couples:

 

Amara/Dante (they were the goals for people who want to love.)

Morana/Tristan (They’ll always be the IT couple, yet still sad about the whole confession-in-words scene 🙁 I mean, I get it, but I wish.)

Lyna/Shadow Man (I mean- yesss, they were not so great….. But his POV made me want to put them above. And and, they had better chemistry, at least.)

Zephyr/Alpha (She was ignored and alienated for quite some time, and it took a breakdown to realise his actions.)

 

 

Read Bonus Chapters and woah! It was worth it. Denial, Betrayal, scenes for which we never got the backstory and how or why it happened the way it did. The author clearly had her favourites as well. And much awaited pov’s and words were there, which makes me change the rating, but naaahh. Okay, maybe I did. Or maybe I didn’t. You’ll never know. (I didn’t)

 

Nonetheless, I liked reading this series, and for me, it would be a solid 4/5.
